Flex Effect

Facial Architecture, Bone Volume, and Aging by Deborah Tosline

I began my Do-It-Yourself (DIY) facial hobby in my early 20’s and focused solely on skin health at the time. A couple of decades later I changed my focus and began to strengthen weak and atrophied facial muscles while continuing to advance my DIY skin care practices. Currently, I focus on facial bone health and identifying a variety of methods to maintain and enhance facial bone volume. Facial bones provide the foundation for facial muscles and skin and our individual look.

Hello Old Friend, FlexEffect Facialbuilding® Exercises by Deborah Tosline

Today I write about the facial exercise program that I began using in 2002 at 43 and continue to use today at 60. In my mind, maintaining overall health and fitness with strength training, stretching, and massage is beneficial for all soft tissue including the skin, fascia, and muscles and the bones of the face. I had originally found facial exercise books at used book stores and at the library. Later, I found Deb Crowley and the FlexEffect (FE) Facial Resistance Training program on the Internet and knew that I had found what I was looking for.
